He was the husband of Mrs. Lucy W. Coleman Miller and son of Mrs. Lelia Cooper and the late Cornelius F. Miller, and was a native of Norfolk, having resided here all is life. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons James Franklin Miller, Jr., and Frederick W. Miller, of Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. E.E. Brock, of Norfolk; Mrs. Della Dillon, of Alexandria and Mrs. Lucille Backus of Norfolk, and three brothers, C.K., C.C., and T.C. Miller, of Norfolk. Funeral Services will be a the funeral chapel of James V. Derry, 1920 Colley Avenue tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock, the Rev. George W.M. Taylor, pastor of Zion Methodist Episcopal Church, of which Mr. Miller was a member, officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
