Norfolk Ledger Dispatch April 16, 1930

Shepherd Lowe Miller, who lived the most of his life on Main Street, Berkley, 
died Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in New York, where he has been living a 
number of years.
He was a son of the (late) Capt. Frank and Mrs. Nina Herbert Miller, of this 
place and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Kelley Miller and two children. The 
body will reach Norfolk Thursday morning and be taken to the funeral home of 
J.R. Williams, Chesapeake Avenue, South Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted in Memorial Methodist Church Thursday at 3 p.m. 
and the burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
