The Virginian Pilot Saturday July 28, 1956
George E. Miller, 65, husband of Mrs. Maria M. Miller and son of the late 
Frank and Mrs. Mary Frost Miller, a native of Suffolk and a resident of 
Norfolk for 60 years, died Thursday at 9:30 p.m. at the residence, 807 W. 
35th St.  He was a member of Epworth Methodist Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, George E. Miller Jr., of the 
U.S. Army, Fort Bragg, N.C.; one daughter, Mrs. L.J. Buckman of Berkeley, 
Calif. and a grandson, Michael Miller of Norfolk.
Services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 2 
p.m. by the Rev. Edgar A. Potts, D.D., pastor of Epworth Methodist Church.  
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
