                           DEATH OF J.R. MILLER
J.R. Miller, formerly of this place, but lately of Princess Anne County, died 
Sunday evening after a brief illness.  The deceased was thirty years old.
The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. A.J. Ramsey this afternoon at 3 
o'clock at the home of Mrs. Frank Pierson in Liberty Street.  The interment will 
be in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral of J.R. Miller, who died Sunday night at Bayside, Princess Anne 
County, took place yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence of Mrs. 
Frank Pierson in Liberty Street.  The obsequies were conducted by Rev. A. J. 
Ramsey, pastor of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, and the interment was in 
the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
