Miller, who departed this life at the Norfolk Protestant Hospital Wednesday morning, were interred in Magnolia Cemetery yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The funeral service was conducted at the grave by Rev. T.C. Skinner, pastor of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church. The deceased was a resident here for a number of years and associated with Mr. R.B. Mercer in a blacksmith business on Liberty street. He had of late been employed at Rockville, N.C., with a lumber concern. He was 33 years old and leaves a widow and two uncles, Messrs. P.L. and Q.T. Humphires, of this place.
