Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, December 18, 1997 
Charlie E. ``Snookie'' Miller of the 700 block of Easy St. died Dec. 14, 1997,
in DePaul Medical Center.

A Norfolk native, Mr. Miller was a retired civil service worker for the Naval
Supply Center. He was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church and a U.S. Naval
veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel M. Miller; a daughter, Lucy Taylor of Norfolk;
two grandchildren, Lovonia Monique Taylor, Shakena Taylor, both of Norfolk; a
sister, Josephine Harkness of Norfolk; a brother, James Miller of San Diego,
Calif.; a cousin, Frances Whith of Norfolk; a host of nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.

A funeral will conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home
Chapel by Bishop Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The remains
will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. today. The family will assemble at 318 W.
29th St., Apt. 3, at 12:30 p.m. for the procession.
