William Lewis Miller Jr., 78, formerly of Norfolk, died July 27, 1992, in a 
Richmond hospital.

Mr. Miller was born in Waverly, N.Y. He had served in the Navy in World War II and 
had retired from Ford Motor Co., Norfolk.

Survivors include his wife, Josephine Margiotta Miller, and a daughter, Louise M. 
Cartwright, both of Mechanicsville; two sisters, Muriel Henry of Athens, Pa., and 
Olive Morgan of Sayre, Pa.; a brother, Arthur Miller of Pearl River, La.; two 
grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

The graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk. 
Friends may join the family from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the American 
Heart Association.
