Virginian Pilot August 1, 1908

The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Olive Miller, wife of M.J. Miller, whose death 
occurred at her home, 171 Holt Street, Thursday after an illness of three weeks 
in the 52d year of her age, was held from her late residence at 3 o'clock 
yesterday afternoon and was largely attended.  The service was conducted by Rev. 
W.G. Starr, D.D., of the Cumberland Street Methodist Church.  The interment was 
in Elmwood Cemetery. The following nephews of the deceased were the pallbearers: 
E.T. Gresham, S.S. Gresham, E.V. Gresham, E.J. Smith, Earl Smith, A.C. Smith, 
Jr., R.C. Smith and E.V. Smith. Mrs. Miller leaves four daughters: Mrs. Lelia 
Montgomery, Miss Mary Ethel Miller, Miss Florence Olive Miller and Miss Ruth Old 
Miller, also a sister, Mrs. T.B. Gresham, of Princess Anne County and two 
brothers, A.C. Smith, of Princess Anne and J.T. Smith, of South Norfolk.
