The funeral service of Mrs. Matilda Miller who died at her residence on Henry
street, May 23, were conducted at the St. Paul C.M.E. Church, Sunday, June 2, at
1:00 o'clock p.m.  The pastor, Rev. Moore, officiated.  A large number of
friends were present and numerous floral designs were given.  The pallbearers
were Mesdames Lizzie Minkins, Nannie Maye, Carrie Kerby, Annie Johnson, Misses
Julia Wright and Ella Thomas.  Interment was in the West Point Cemetery.
