Virginian-Pilot, September 15, 1996 

Hugh Drummond Miller Jr., 61, of Cedar Lane, died Sept. 13, 1996. Born in 
Norfolk, Mr. Miller was a retired systems analyst of International Business 
Machine Corp., the City of Virginia Beach, and Virginia Chemicals. He was a 
graduate of Maury High School and Old Dominion University. Mr. Miller had 
served as an officer in the Coast Guard. Survivors include his mother, Ruth L. 
Miller of Virginia Beach; an uncle, Frank H. Miller of Norfolk; and a nephew, 
Douglas Galloway of Alleganey, N.Y. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 
a.m. Monday in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. H. LeRoy Seibert. 
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements.
