NORFOLK - Mrs. Annie Austin Miller, 87, of 9613 18th Bay St., the widow of Peter 
Miller and a native of Cape Hatteras, N.C., died Monday in her home.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Miller Carpenter of Norfolk; two sisters, 
Mrs. Mollie M. Powell of Norfolk and Mrs. Blanche Laquia of Virginia Beach; two 
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments by 
the Rev. Penny L. Wilson Jr. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
