Virginian-Pilot August 29, 1967
NORFOLK - Peter Miller, 81, of 3124 E. Ocean View Ave., died Monday in a 
hospital.
He was the husband of Mrs. Annie Austin Miller, and a son of the late John 
Miller and Mrs. Mary Morton Miller.
A native of Norfolk, he was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He was 
retired from Ford Motor Co,
Surviving, besides his wife, are two daughters, Mrs. Ruth M. Carpenter and Mrs. 
Joseph O. Groome of Norfolk; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, 
Wednesday at noon. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family has 
requested that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church.
