The Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 14, 1952
Mrs. Frances Jane Miller, 50, widow of A.A. Miller and daughter of Jesse and 
Mrs. Fanny Upton Linton, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 12:25 p.m. She 
was a native of South Mills, N.C., and a resident of this section for many 
years.
Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Laura J. Beach and Mrs. Lucy Colonna, of 
Norfolk; four sons, Louis L. Miller, of New York; Patrick Miller, of Alaska; 
Joseph Miller, of Reno, Nev., and Watson T. Miller, of California; 20 
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 3 
p.m. by the Rev. P. Rowland Wagner, pastor of Central Baptist Church. Burial 
will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
