Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - January 25, 1995 
Hazelle "June" Miller Jr., 55, of the 1300 block of Milton St., owner of 
Miller's Masonry Co., died Jan. 23, 1995, in Norfolk. 
Mr. Miller was born in Rock Hill, S.C., and was preceded in death by his 
parents, Mattie L. Hoyle and Hazelle Miller. 
Survivors include his former wife, Bessie E. Miller of Chesapeake; a son, 
Darryl Obey of Virginia Beach; six sisters, Wilma Taylor and Mattie Mae 
Harrell, both of Norfolk, Juanita Baker and Linda Mitchell, both of Richmond, 
Patricia Rogers of Baltimore, Md., and Sharon Richardson of Virginia Beach; 
four brothers, Vernon A. Miller of Richmond, Jerome Miller of Palasky, Va., 
Adron Miller of Norfolk and Glenn Miller of Chester, Va.; two grandchildren; 
and a host of nieces and nephews. 
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Fellowship COGIC, 721 29th St., 
Norfolk, by the Rev. Lester Frye. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Norfolk. 
The family will receive friends at the church from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday 
and again on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Altmeyer 
Funeral Home is handling arrangements
