Virginian Pilot February 15, 1908

Mrs. Sallie C. Milligan, relict of the late Major James F. Milligan, departed this 
life at the home of her son, Charles S. Milligan, Ninth street and Llewellyn 
avenue, Thursday afternoon at the ripe old age of 73 years.  The deceased was born 
in Norfolk where she had resided all her life and where she was widely known and 
universally esteemed.  She is survived by four children, Miss Maud Milligan, Mrs. 
Sue L. Turner, Charles Milligan and R.T .Milligan, all of this city.
The funeral will be held from the residence of her son at 3 o'clock this 
afternoon.
