Virginian-Pilot  April 27, 1931
Mrs. Gertrude G. Mills, aged 48, wife of Othello Mills, died at a local hospital 
yesterday afternoon at 12:45 o’clock. She was a native of France, and a resident 
of Norfolk for the past 24 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, 
Bernard Leon Mills. Funeral services will be held at H. D. Oliver’s Funeral 
Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, tomorrow morning at 11 o’clock. 
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
