The Virginian Pilot Saturday June 3, 1967
Mrs. Eliza Messick Gallup Miner, 72, of 412 26th St., died Friday in her 
home.
She was the wife of Ernest L. Miner and a daughter of Edward L. and Mrs. 
Mary Sue James Messick.
A Norfolk native, she was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Surviving, besides her husband, are three sisters, Mrs. Georgie E. Gregory, 
Mrs. Margarett V. Baublitz and Mrs. Esther C. Leighton of Norfolk; a 
brother, E.L. Messick of Princess Anne; and two grandchildren.
The body will be taken from H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to her home 
today. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in St. Paul's 
Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
