Virginian Pilot, Sunday, Nov 6,1983
Norfolk -     James Minggie of 1002 Mariner St., a native of Jackson, NC, died 
Wednesday in his home.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include three sisters, Alice Turner and Sylvia Jernigans of Norfolk 
and Rebecca Brown of California.

The funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Smyrna Church of Christ, 
Holy Disciples, by the Rev. James Cherry.  Burial with military honors will be 
in Calvary Cemetery, with Graves Funeral Home in charge.
