Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, May 8, 1999 
Evelyn Minnicks of the 800 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd. died May 6, 1999, at
a local hospital.

Born in Norfolk, she was a retired domestic worker and the widow of Frederick
Minnicks.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty White and Barbara Mussen, both of
Norfolk; two sons, Jesse Jordan of Norfolk and Michael Jordan Sr. of Chesapeake;
10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Jeanette Jordan of
Chesapeake; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at noon Monday at First Calvary Baptist Church by the
Rev. J.L. White. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body will be taken to
the church at 10 a.m. The family will assemble at 7464 Rosefield Drive, Norfolk.
Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
