Norfolk - Albert Joseph Minnis of 1050 Mapole avenue died in a hospital after a 
short illness.

A native of Amory, MS, he was a son of the late Willis and Mrs. Louise Minnis 
and the husband of Mrs. Eunice J. Minnis.

He retired from Norfolk Naval Air Station after 30 years.

He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and its Building Committee.

Surviving, besides his widow, are a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Louise Minnis Capps of 
Penn Hills, PA, and a grandchild.

Services were held in Shiloh Baptist Church by Dr. John H. Foster.  Burial was 
in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in charge.
