MINNIS, in the 60th year of his age. Funeral from Warren Funeral Apartment, 322 E. Freemason Street, SUNDAY, October 17, at 3 p.m. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment in Cedar Grove. ************************************************************************* The funeral of Henry S. Minnis, an old resident of Norfolk, who died at St. Vincent's Hospital yesterday morning following an illness of two weeks, will take place Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Paul C. Warren's Funeral Apartments, 322 East Freemason Street, and will be conducted by Rev. J.A. Thomas of Cumberland Street Methodist Church. Mr. Minnis was 60 years old and had spent practically all his life in Norfolk. He was a well known printer and was connected with the Portsmouth Star for a number of years. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J.F. Hall of Texas; Mrs. Maurice E. Pipkins of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Miss Clara L. Minnis of Norfolk. He was a member of the Black Hawk Tribe of Red Men and of the Printers' Union. Both these organizations will attend the funeral Sunday. Interment will occur in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
