She is survived by her mother, Marian Morris Minton of Norfolk; three daughters, Marian Minton Flythe, Vennetta Minton King; a son, Jerome Minton; and 12 grandchildren, Johnathon, Joron, Destinee, Jasmine, Verneseion, Keaira, Timothy, Lil Jerome, Veronica, Joy, Rodney, Stephine; five sisters, Sylvia, Lane, Mildred, Pauline, Michelle; and six brothers, Micheal, Joseph, James, Bruce, Brian, Paul, all of Norfolk; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters, Tauwanda and Cora Minton; and a brother, Isaiah Minton Jr. A funeral will be at 11 a.m. today in Mount Carmel Baptist Church by Bishop C. Vernie Russell Jr. D.D. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
