He was a retired plumber and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II and participated in the D-Day invasion. He was awarded the Purple Heart. Survivors include his mother, Angelina DeMaio Minutolo; four sisters, Louise McKinney, Mollie Jones and Angelina Durr, all of Norfolk, and Helen Antal of Chula Vista, Calif.; and a brother, Alfred Minutolo of Charlottesville. The graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary’s Cemetery by the Rev. J. Michael Breslin. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is in charge. The family will be at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church or the American Heart Association.
