NORFOLK - Vincent James Mirabella of 601 Stockley Gardens, the husband of Mrs. 
Beatrice Matheny Mirabella and a retired contractor of the Norfolk and Richmond 
areas, died Monday in a hospital.
Mirabella, a native of Italy, lived here most of his life. He was a former 
president of the Builders and Contractors Exchange.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Forty and Eight Club, 
American Legion, Elks Club, Tidewater Club, and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Other 
survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gloria M. Creef of Virginia Beach; a sister, 
Miss Florence M. Mirabella of Norfolk; and two grandchildren.
A Christian Wake service will be held tonight at 7 in H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments.
A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
