The Virginian Pilot January 30, 1986 
Ada Mitchell, a former resident of 600 E. Olney Road, died Monday in a hospital 
She was the widow of Butler Mitchell and a native of Smithfield.
Mrs. Mitchell. a retired domestic worker, was a former member of Second Calvary 
Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Florence Jones of Philadelphia, two grandchildren, 
four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Hale Funeral Chapel by the Rev. 
J.L. Kearney Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
