Norfolk Journal and Guide, May 18,1963
Norfolk - Mrs. Nancy Mitchell, 80, of 926 Walcott street, who died at her home 
May 12, will receive final rites at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at H. T. Price Funeral 
Home.

The Rev. John B. Gray, pastor of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, will officiate.  
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

A member of Shiloh Baptist Church in her native Franklin, NC, Mrs. Mitchell was 
a Norfolk resident for more than 40 years.  She worked as a domestic for 25 
years.

Survivors include two sons, Alfred and Charlie Mitchell of Franklin and a niece, 
Mrs. Mary L. Crawford of Norfolk.
