Norfolk - Mrs. Mable T. Mitchell of 928 Maltby avenue, who died Jan. 14 in a 
hospital, was given final rites Tuesday in Riddick Funeral Chapel by the Rev. J. 
J. Freeman.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
The Norfolk native was a daughter of James Hicks and Mrs. Beulah Oliver.  She was 
a beautician at Helen’s Beauty Salon.

Surviving are a foster son, James Parsons of Washington;  two brothers, Richard 
Jackson of Alexandria and Frank Oliver of Norfolk;  and a sister, Mrs. Bessie 
Scott of New York.
