Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - February 26, 1992
Monte Ramon Mitchell of the 7500 block of Rosefield Drive, a retired barber, 
died Feb. 23, 1992, in a hospital. 
Mr. Mitchell was born in Philadelphia. He was formerly employed with Kappatal 
Cuts. He was a member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church. 
Survivors include his parents, Yvonne B. Mitchell and Lloyd N. Mitchell of 
Norfolk; two sisters, Dedra M. Smith of Norfolk and Kalena Mitchell of 
Chesapeake; a stepsister, Linkeda Joyner of Norfolk; a brother, Lloyd N. 
Mitchell Jr. of Raleigh, N.C.; and maternal grandmother, Bernice Brown of 
Norfolk. 
The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Mount Gilead Baptist Church by 
the Rev. Raymond Dean. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join 
the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
