Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, March 30, 2001 
Jermaine Mitchell, 25, of the 2700 block of Chesterfield Blvd., died March 26,
2001. He was a native of Norfolk.

Survivors include a daughter, Brehona Mitchell of Norfolk; a son, Jamal Mithcell
of Norfolk; his mother, Brenda Mitchell of Norfolk; a sister, Tamika Mitchell of
Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, DeShawn Mitchell of Norfolk; his grandmother, Evelyn
Mitchell of Norfolk; four uncles, Marvin, Herbert, Donald, and Kevin Mitchell;
and his aunt, Shelia Mitchell. He leaves behind a special friend, Octavia
Matthews, who is expecting his third child.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Hale Funeral Home Chapel by
Bishop Raymond Worrell Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
