In loving remembrance of my dear mother, Mrs. Annie Mitchell, who departed this 
life one year ago, March 18,1929.

Never a day but I need you
Never an hour but I see
The wonderful depth of your loving
and what it has meant to me

Only a year but I’m learning
How precious you were and how true,
And how much of God went in making
The heart of a mother like you.
