Norfolk - Mary Lee Ruffin Mitchell, of 2821 Liberia Drive, the widow of Phil 
Moore Mitchell, died Sunday, May 5 in a hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she had been employed at Dixie Manufacturing Company for 45 
years.

Survivors include a son, Edward Ruffin of Norfolk; three grandchildren and 11 
great-grandchildren. 

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Hale Funeral Chapel by the 
Rev. J. L. Kearney Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
