Norfolk - Funeral services were conducted recently for Edward Harris Mitter of 
1019 Church street in Jones Funeral Chapel.  The Rev. W. O. Deloatch officiated.

A native of LaCrosse, he was the son of the late Marcus and Mrs. Rose Mitter.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Tynes and Mrs. Ruth Parham of Norfolk;  
two sons, Harry Mitter of New York and Conway Mitter of Norfolk and two sisters, 
Mrs. Jane Griffin of Petersburg and Mrs. Emma Cheatman of Baltimore, MD.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
