He was a native of Germany, but had spent the major part of his life in this section. He was a son of the late James and Catherine Fletcher Mohr. He was a member of Oakdale Lodge No. 70, I.O.O.F. and Oakdale Encampment and the Liberty Street Methodist Church, South Norfolk. The funeral will take place in the church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. ******************************************************************** The funeral of Nicholas Mohr, who died Friday at his home in Oakdale, South Norfolk, took place in Liberty Street Methodist Church, yesterday afternoon and was largely attended. Oakdale Lodge, No. 70, I.O.O.F., of which he was a member and Oakdale Rebecca Lodge, No. 47, I.O.O.F., attended. Rev. Mr. Taylor, pastor of the church, conducted the services. The floral tributes were very pretty. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery. The pall-bearers were H.J.B. Clark, J.P. Saunders, L.F. McCloud, H.M. Dozier, George T. Harper, D.R. Miller, A.B. Hanbury and W.C. Wilson.
