She was the daughter of John and Marguerite Papagni and was born in Bari, Italy, in 1915. At the age of eight, she immigrated with her family to the United States, joining with the thousands of Europeans who passed through Ellis Island. Following the death of her husband in 1960, Grace remained in Virginia Beach until 1969, when she married Paul Molfino and moved to Hallandale, Fla. After Paul died in 1995, Grace continued to live in Florida until 2000, when she returned to Virginia Beach to live with her grandson, Micah Losciale, and his wife, Joy. She spent the final year of her life as a resident of Warwick Forest in Newport News. Grace was known as an accomplished seamstress and an even more accomplished cook. Throughout her life, Grace was a loving wife and mother and committed to her extensive family reaching across the United States and Italy. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rosalie Losciale; grandson, Robert Jugo; and eight brothers and sisters, who left her with numerous nieces and nephews. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Kircher and her husband, Rudy, of Houston, Texas, and Rita Wharton and her husband, Wade, of Yorktown, Va., and her son, Vinny Losciale and his wife, Jan, of Virginia Beach.
