A native of Italy, he was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. He was a restaurateur and a former owner of Mollura’s Restaurant. He was a member of Roma Lodge 254, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4809, American Legion Post 36, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 4, and Elks Lodge 38 and a veteran of World War I. He was the son of Giovanni Battista and Mrs. Concetta Materia Mollura. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Josephine Penello Mollura, three sons, John Anthony Mollura, Frank Mollura, and Vincent Joseph Mollura, and a daughter, Mrs. Margaret A. Hall, all of Norfolk; a sister, Miss Stefanni Mollura, and two brothers, Gaetano Mollura and Giovanni Mollura, all of Italy; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Requiem Mass, will be celebrated in St. Pius X Catholic Church Monday at 10 a.m. The Rosary will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday at 8 p.m. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
