Norfolk Virginian September 29, 1893

MOLONEY - Suddenly, in this city, at his residence, No. 250 Freemason Street, 
Wednesday morning, at 8 o'clock, DANIEL MOLONEY, aged 67 years.
The funeral will take place from St. Mary's Catholic Church THIS (Friday) 
MORNING at 9 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.

The funeral of Mr. Daniel Moloney took place from St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 
9 o’clock yesterday morning and was largely attended, St. Patrick’s Society, of 
which he was a member, being present to pay a last tribute of respect. The 
services were conducted by the Rev. Father Doherty, and the interment was in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery, the following being the pallbearers: Messrs. Thomas Gorman, 
William Donovan, William Hart, Dennis Mack, Richard Fogarty, Martin Cashin, 
James O’Rourke and William M. Hannan.
