He had been in failing health since last February. Mr. Moloney was a native of Clonlee county, Wexford, Ireland, but came to Portsmouth when he was a young man and spent his entire life here. He was for a number of years in the service of the Old Dominion Steamship company, at the North street terminals, in this city, but some time ago was placed on the retired list. He was possessed of many friends, and by them was held in high esteem. A daughter, Miss Mary Moloney, of this city, and a sister, Miss Mary Moloney, of Norfolk, survive him, as well as a number of nephews and nieces. The funeral service will take place in St. Paul’s Catholic church, where he held membership, at 9:30 o’clock tomorrow morning. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s cemetery, Norfolk.
