Virginian Pilot April 27, 1994

Linda A. Monroe, 46, of the 700 block of Roundbay Road, a cook, died April 23, 
1994, in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Monroe was born in Norfolk. She was predeceased by her parents, Missouri M. 
Monroe and Fletcher Monroe Sr.; a sister, Sharon Monroe; and a brother, Perry R. 
Monroe Sr.
She is survived by three brothers, Joseph R. Monroe Sr., Aaron Monroe Sr. and 
Fletcher Monroe Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and other 
friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Metropolitan Funeral Service, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. Joseph Lassiter. Family and friends will assemble at the 
funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. and at 1 p.m. Friday for 
funeral processional to the chapel.
