NORFOLK - Charles Joseph Montagna, 73, son of Guiseppe and Mrs. Santa Paola 
Locascio Montagna, died in a Bedford hospital Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was a member of Roma Lodge of Sons of Italy 
and Elks Lodge 38.
He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Lillie LaGiglia, Miss Angelina Montagna 
and Miss Annie Montagna, and five brothers, Frank Montagna, John Montagna, 
George Montagna, Anthony Montagna and Julius Montagna, all of Norfolk.
The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.

MONTAGNA, CHARLES JOSEPH - At Bedford, Va., Wednesday, March 31st, 1965, at 7:30 
p.m., CHARLES JOSEPH, son of the late Giuseppe, and Mrs. Santa Paola Locascio 
Montagna, age 73 years. Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk, to St. Pius X Catholic Church, for services Saturday at 10 
a.m. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
