NORFOLK - Vanessa Blair Montague, 23, passed away at her home with her loving 
family at her side. Now she is celebrating her
first Christmas in heaven with Jesus.
She is survived by her mother, Diana Simpkins; her father, Juan R. Rodriquez; 
three daughters, Kayliah Ybarra, Anena Ybarra and Jasmine Rodriquez-Lopez; a son, 
Emilio "Jino" Rodriquez-Lopez; a sister, Candace Dawn Cook; two brothers, Matthew 
Hyde and Michael Hyde; her maternal grandmother, Patricia Montague; her beloved 
friend, Jose Lopez; and three best friends, Jessica Foster, Denise Smyeczk and Kim 
Bellgraph.
A funeral will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Victory Worship, 5623 Tidewater 
Drive, Norfolk. Pastor Hennie Becker will officiate. The family will receive 
friends and family at the church from noon to 1 p.m. before the service. In lieu 
of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Jasmine and Jino Trust 
Fund at any Wachovia Bank location.
