Norfolk Journal and Guide, March 11,1944
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Montier, 70, of Wood street, who died at her
home March 4, were held at Hale’s Chapel with Rev. Mr. Henderson of Bank Street
Baptist Church officiating, March 6.  Mrs. Montier was a widow and leaves a
number of relatives and friends.  Interment was held in Calvary Cemetery by Hale
Funeral Home.
