Virginian-Pilot November 6, 1933
Edward Mooney, age 47, died at a local hospital yesterday morning at 6:15 o’clock. 
Mr. Mooney had been a resident of Norfolk for a number of years until recently, 
when he made his home in Hampton. He is survived only by his wife, Mrs. Mary O. 
Mooney, of Hampton. The body will be taken from Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-
12 East Freemason street, to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for services tomorrow 
morning at 10 o’clock, with the Rev. Richard B. Washington, pastor of Star of the 
Sea Catholic Church, Old Point Comfort, officiating.
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk.
