The Virginian Pilot March 8, 1960
Mrs. Ruth White Moore, 67, wife of Richard Henry Moore, and daughter of the 
late Benjamin Stuart and Mrs. Johnnie Sarah Collie White, died Monday at 10:45 
a.m. at the residence, 1421 Graydon Ave.
Mrs. Moore was a native of Chatham, and had been a resident of Norfolk for 43 
years.
Besides her husband, Richard Henry Moore, she is survived by two daughters, 
Mrs. Sarah Moore O'Hara, of Yorktown, and Mrs. Ruth Moore Spencer, of Norfolk; 
five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Walter A. Fitzpatrick, and Mrs. J. 
Harrison Tabb, of Bedford.
A funeral service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church Wednesday at 
3:30 p.m. by the Rev. Edward H. Jones.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and those desiring to do so may 
contribute instead to the Special Gift and Memorial Fund of Norfolk General 
Hospital Auxiliary.
