Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark January 5, 1918

The funeral of Mrs. Alice Moore, widow of John H. Moore and daughter of the late 
George Frederick and Catherine Clark, will take place at the Cumberland Street 
Methodist Church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. 
J.L. Bray. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore died Thursday night at 11:45 o'clock at the home of her son, Elwood F. 
Moore, S. Orleans Circle, Lafayette Residence Park. She is survived by one son, 
Elwood F. Moore and by two daughters, Mrs. James E. Lowe and Miss Blanche E. 
Moore.
