Mrs. Mamie Britt Moore of 1845 O’Keefe street died April 6 in a Norfolk 
hospital after a short illness. A native of Norfolk and widow of Clarence 
Moore, she was a member of Daughters of Norfolk, and of First Baptist Church, 
Bute street, where funeral services were conducted Sunday, April 10, by the 
Rev. E. Paul Simms, pastor. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Barnes and Miss Marion Moore, 
both of Norfolk, and one brother, Cromwell Britt of Philadelphia.

Hale Funeral Home handled arrangements.
