Norfolk - Mrs. Lydia Brown Moore of 580 Nicholson street, a stewardess and choir 
member at St. John’s AME Church, received final rites at the church Tuesday.  
She died Dec. 20.

The deceased was a native of Princess Anne County.  She was a retired employee 
of the Norfolk School Board with 24 years of service, and a past leader of Lydia 
Tent.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Estelle Womack of Norfolk;  and a sister, Mrs. 
Indiana Barbour, also of Norfolk;  and three grandchildren.

The Rev. W. L. Hildebrand officiated at the funeral.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Home in charge.
