Norfolk - John Moore of 1312 Buck road died in a hospital.  A native of 
Nashville, TN, he was a son of Johnnie and Mrs. Annie Moore and the husband of 
Mrs. Mattie Moore.

He was a retired employee of Norfolk Naval Station.

Besides his wife, surviving are two stepsons, James Dye of Norfolk and Roosevelt 
Dye of Richmond;  a stepdaughter, Mrs. Roberta Hunt of Pittsburgh;  and two 
grandchildren.

Services were held in Smyrna Holiness Church of God in Christ by Rev. Estelle 
Hodges.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.
