Virginian Pilot Wednesday August 18, 1909

Mrs. Alma J. Moore, 33 years of age, wife of W.J. Moore, died yesterday morning 
at the family residence in Hawthorne avenue, South Norfolk, after a brief 
illness.
The deceased was well known and highly respected.
In addition to a husband she is survived by two small children.
The funeral will be conducted from the family residence Thursday morning at 11 
o'clock, Rev. E.W. Cowling officiating and interment will be in Magnolia 
cemetery.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Alma J. Moore, wife of W.J. Moore, who died at the 
family residence in Hawthorn avenue, South Norfolk, Tuesday morning, will be 
conducted from the St. Thomas' Episcopal Church this morning at 11 o'clock.  
Rev. E.W. Cowling, rector, will officiate, and the interment will be in Magnolia 
cemetery.
