The Virginian-Pilot, Monday, February 15, 1971

NORFOLK - Mrs. Octavia Moore of 543 Nicholson St. died Sunday afternoon in a
hospital.

A native of Ivor, she was the wife of Charlie Moore and a daughter of the late
Charlie and Mrs. Martha Chatman.

She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and its Dorcas Society.

Besides her husband, surviving are two sons, William Burrell and Matthews Burrell
and a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Yancey, all of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Queen Cason of
Baltimore; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.

Additional Comments:
NORFOLK - A funeral service for Mrs. Octavia Moore will be held today at 12:30 p.m.
in Campstella Heights Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home has charge.
