NORFOLK - Mrs. Sadie C. Moore of 916 Spaulding Drive, the wife of James Moore, 
died Sunday in a hospital.

A native of Columbia, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Steve and Mrs. Darcus 
Brickhouse Clayton.

She was a deaconess and member of the Gospel Choir of Antioch Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Clarine Raiford and Mrs. 
Fannie Watson of Norfolk, Mrs. Sadie Jones and Mrs. Doris Davis of Chesapeake; a 
sister, Mrs. Agnes Bryant of the Bronx, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and two 
great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.
